2.000 tickets for the opening match of the Women's World Cup

2.000 tickets are still available for the opening match of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011 on June 26, 2011 between Germany and Canada. 3.000 tickets are available for the final in Frankfurt and 4.000 tickets are still to be had for the semi-final in Frankfurt as well. 

Next to these larger ticket allocations, some smaller ticket allocations are available for other matches that were previously not available any more. These include the group matches of the German team and the matches played in Sinsheim. The additional ticket allocations are available through the official web site at www.FIFA.com/deutschland2011 and via the hotline at 01805 / 06 2011 (0,14 € Cent / min. from German land lines, mobile phone prices may vary).

Organizing committee president Steffi Jones is confident: “These ticket sale numbers make us very happy and one month ahead of the start of the World Cup I think it is save to say that we will be having great atmospheres in all stadia for all 32 matches of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011. The good news for the fans is that they now have another realistic chance to get tickets for the most popular matches of the World Cup.”
