Coldplay at the Olympiastadion Berlin in June 2016

It is their first world tour since the Mylo Xyloto tour in 2011/2012, which was attended by more than three million fans on five continents. The band will play its first concerts in South America since 2010 and will appear in Peru for the first time ever.

A Head Full Of Dreams’, which will be released on December 4, is the vibrant successor to the fragile heartache-record ‘Ghost Stories’, Coldplay’s sixth successive international No. 1 album. The band chose not to go on tour with ‘Ghost Stories’ but rather return to the recording studio to work on ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin explains: “Not to go on tour with ‘Ghost Stories’ was one of our best decisions. There was a lot of energy at the studio and it provoked the desire to travel around the world and play music. ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ was written to be performed live. We can’t wait.”

Presale for the European concerts starts on Friday, November 27 at 10:00 am.
