Lollapalooza Berlin Sixth edition this weekend

This coming weekend, Lollapalooza Berlin will celebrate its long-awaited reunion with its fans and presents local and international show stars on a total of five stages. This year’s musical highlights include AnnenMayKantereit, Seeed, Kraftklub, Machine Gun Kelly, Die Fantastischen Vier, Tiësto, Anne-Marie, Loredana, Zoe Wees, Nina Chuba and many more. Production preparations in the Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park are in full swing.

On 24 and 25 September, the Olympic grounds will shine in the usual Lollapalooza splendour. Artists and dazzling walking acts will provide moments of amazement at the Fun Fair. At Fashionpalooza, visitors can look forward to cool trends and looks that can be tried out at workshops and DIY stations. In addition, the stage of the lifestyle experience world offers live podcasts, a ballroom show and fashion shows by up-and-coming Berlin fashion labels. A colorful programme awaits the little guests again at Kidzapalooza. The festival offspring can look forward to lots of music, theater and creative hands-on activities.

The topic of sustainability plays an overriding role at Lolla Berlin this year. The festival introduced a transparent sustainability management system according to DIN ISO 20121 at the beginning of 2022 and has already been independently audited for the planning phase. In addition, the sustainability area “Der Grüne Kiez” puts topics such as climate protection, equality and human rights in the focus of visitors and presents projects that encourage exchange and serve as inspiration. In addition to its own efforts to make the big event even more sustainable, the festival is using synergies with its partners DB Cargo and the Warsteiner brewery to protect the environment for the first time. This year, DB Cargo will transport 100,000 litres of beer to Lollapalooza by environmentally friendly rail. Compared to transport by truck, this saves about 80% CO2. For the transport, the partners brought the Berlin rapper MC Fitti on board, who personally helped to bring the load to Berlin. Here is the video. Further information on the festival’s comprehensive sustainability concept can be found in the Lolla Charter.

All further information on the running order, festival ground, travel, cashless and opening hours can be found in the FAQ’s and on the website. The Lollapalooza App is now available for download.

Tickets for the festival spectacle are available here.

For all music fans who can’t make it to Lollapalooza this year, festival partner Telekom will be showing many mainstage performances on MagentaTV and in a free livestream on MagentaMusik. In addition, MagentaMusik will bring the livestream to TikTok for the first time, which will be supplemented with “Behind the Scenes” insights and interviews by renowned creators.
