Germany, next to England, could become the second location for NFL games outside of the United States in the near future. During the NFL owner’s meeting on October 7, 2015, the owners voted to expand the international series within the next ten years.

Last Wednesday, the expansion of the international series was not just confirmed to extend through the next ten years, but also to stage regular season games outside of England as soon as 2016.

Germany has long been considered as a possible location for NFL regular season games due to the large fan base and the success of the NFL Europe several years ago. Stadionwelt is currently conducting a survey to find out which stadium their readers would prefer to host an NFL regular season match in Germany.
