The Olympiastadion Berlin at the ITB 2012

168.000 visitors experienced the amazing atmosphere of the ITB Berlin 2012. Even the capital presented itself to the guests from all over the world. Right in the middle of everything: The Olympiastadion Berlin. As one of the “Berliner Highlights”, an association of dedicated tourism providers of the capital, the Olympiastadion Berlin was present with its own stand.

Apart from major events, the Olympiastadion Berlin counts 300,000 visitors every year. Tourists from all over the world come to Berlin Charlottenburg to get an impression of the historic arena which was built for the Olympic Games in 1936. The Olympiastadion Berlin has much to offer: Its 75 year old history, its major events and its tourism program. Anja Baumann, project manager of the agency Runze & Casper, who organises the tourism program at the Olympiastadion Berlin, presented the five star stadium at the ITB together with her team.  The complete tourism program, ranging from an individual visit and a spectacular view from the 77 meters high bell tower in the adjacent Olympiapark Berlin to tours comprising different focuses and the modern visitor centre at the Olympiastadion, were presented. Tour operators as well as end customers were equally informed about the possibilities offered by the Olympiastadion Berlin and the Olympiapark Berlin. As an official partner of the “Berlin Highlights”, the Olympiastadion Berlin bid farewell to a successful ITB 2012 last Sunday.
