Phil Collins opens concert season

See ya football, hello concert season! Phil Collins opened the concert summer in the crowded Olympiastadion Berlin last Friday. Almost 60,000 fans came to his “Still Not Dead Yet” tour and experienced an emotional evening: the former drummer and later singer of the cult band Genesis offered a two-hour show with old companions on one side and his 18-year-old son on drums on the other. The British musician and his band delivered a powerful performance and soon had the audience out of their seats. It was a moving evening at the Olympiastadion Berlin, because it seemed like a farewell by one of the most famous faces in pop history.

With around 100 million records sold, worldwide number one albums and songs that have become the soundtrack of their lives for millions of people, Phil Collins is an absolute legend in music history. His work and career inspired countless musicians on their way to the top. He already made his solo debut in 1981 with the album “Face Value”, which gave the public the super hit “In The Air Tonight”. But that’s not all, Collins turned out to be an absolute hit machine! Another 3 UK number 1 and 7 US number 1 hits like “Easy Lover”, “Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)” and “Another Day In Paradise” followed after his first success.
