The teams not only fight for the approval of the up to 80.000 spectators but also for precious jury points en route to contending for the Fireworks-World-Championship.

All teams have the same challenges: First, a segment without music and a predefined color scheme must be completed (this year the colors are green and purple). Then, a segment underlined with classical music aims at synchronizing fireworks to music as the teams paint colorful displays into the Berlin sky. In the last segment – the freestyle – teams can chose their own music and design their own fireworks show. The freestyle is titled “My country”.

The Olympiastadion Berlin congratulates the Pyronale on 10 successful years and is looking forward to continuing the tradition for at least another 10 years.
