The long Augustis here

The long August is here

In August the Olympiastadion Berlin will be open even longer: For all fans of sports and architecture the stadium opens from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. in August. That gives the discoverers enough time to inspect the stadium in detail. Since its reopening in August 2004, approx. 300,000 visitors a year from all over the world visit the Olympiastadion Berlin on a touristy basis and therefore make it one of the most popular tourist attractions of Berlin.

Apart from the Olympiastadion Berlin you can also take a look at the Olympic Park of Berlin and the exhibition in the Langemarckhalle. The bell tower can be visited by paying a separate entrance fee. Decide on your own if you want to conquer the terrain on your own initiative or go on a tour with a professional guide to find out all about the German history of sports and architecture of the Olympiastadion Berlin and its Olympic Park.

From the 31st of July to the 5th of August, the stadium can exclusively be visited with a guided tour. Due to the construction works concerning the 2018 European Athletics Championships, it is not possible to visit the Olympiastadion Berlin on your own. From the 6th to the 12th of August, throughout the European Championships, the Visitor Center will be closed. The stadium can NOT be visited during the aforementioned period.

More information can be found in our opening hours: July 2018, August 2018 and September 2018. Please note that restrictions and closures can occur during the tours.
