Third Million Visitor in the Olympiastadion Berlin

Time to party in one of the major tourist attraction of Berlin. The visitor center of the Olympiastadion Berlin welcomes its third million tourist: Holger Gellink (47, on the right side of the picture) from Nordhorn is the millionman.

There have been many reasons to party in the Olympiastadion Berlin: important victories, titles, medals, sportsmen and –women and superstars. But today all eyes are on one man: the visitor center of the Olympiastadion Berlin celebrates its 3,000,000 visitor.

The stage is yours

Actually Holger Gellink, teacher at a school in Nordhorn, wanted to take part in a guided tour. But nothing came of it – for now: the General Manager Timo Rohwedder had a very special present for him: exclusive VIP-tickets for a concert or a sports event and a bouquet of flowers. In the name of the operating company and the city of Berlin I congratulate our third million tourist wholeheartedly. The Olympiastadion Berlin is one of the finest stadia in Germany, a place of records and emotions. No matter if it is history, sports or architecture, the Olympiastadion Berlin has an enormous appeal.

The passionate discus thrower is obviously excited: As a former athlete there is no better place for a surprise like that. I will come back with my kids.

On non-event days 300,000 visitors from all over the world flock to the Olympiastadion Berlin annually. They turn the Five-Stars-Stadium into a top tourist attraction of Berlin.
