Open earlier, closed later

We are beginning to see the first signs of spring. Now that the clocks have gone forward, the days are getting longer. From April, our opening hours at the Olympiastadion Berlin are getting longer too. Now that we are officially on summer time, our visitor’s programme is open effective immediately. This will once again be taking place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on events-free days until October. Unlike in the winter months, the Visitor’s Centre will be open one hour earlier and will close a whole three hours later.

To kick off the main season, this year’s highlight is the “Sports photo of the year” photo exhibition. This travelling exhibition, organised by kicker, will be on display at the Olympiastadion Berlin until 3rd April – and can be visited as part of the daily visitor’s programme at no extra cost.

Since the stadium was reopened in August 2004, around 300,000 visitors from all over the world have been flocking to the Olympiastadion Berlin on events-free days per year, making it one of Berlin’s top tourist attractions.

In addition to the Olympiastadion Berlin, you can also visit the Olympiapark Berlin. You can visit the Bell Tower for a reduced admission fee. Decide whether you wish to discover the grounds for yourself or whether you wish to accompany an expert tour guide on a journey through German sporting and architectural history around the Olympiastadion Berlin and the Olympiapark Berlin.

Opening hours: April to October: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., August: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., November to March: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Visitor’s centre at the East Gate: Olympischer Platz 3, 14053 Berlin
